Neither the HSA or Ms. Main has made an announcement stating that she's staying.  This has been handled very poorly.  I wish she would leave; she's unfriendly and doesn't look like she's enjoying the job.  The majority of folks I know, who have been around only a few years, agree.  [/quote]

Watch for the announcement soon. It's coming. Henderson has asked her back--see how informed some the previous posters are?  And you must not know many folks, because she is generally very well regarded.  As a parent of two at Lafayette, I'm very relieved to know that she will be back.  She definitely enjoys the job, you only had to see her hold back tears at the Pre-K graduation to see that.  And she is running a 700 plus child school; she's not unfriendly, but it impossible for her to massage every neurotic parent to the extent that they demand.  Any principal at Lafayette will have to be the same or drown.[/quote]

I agree with PP for the most part.  But I think the difference in opinion about Ms. Main breaks with folks that have younger kids.  Especially anyone dealing with the 50 kid classroom.

Happy Ms. Main is staying put.  We've got just one more year.  Glad to have the continuity and now that Deal's principal is secured (also a known entity) I feel better now.[/quote]
