What weirdos some of you are! Not sure how your freaky minds concluded that I was trying to pawn him off. How many teens do you think wouldn't appreciate a chance to hang with other soccer playing teens instead of spending 24/7 with their 50-yr-old aunt?!?! He did bring his soccer gear along since he is really into playing soccer. The DC team is out of town this week, so going to a pro game won't work.
Yeah but teens he doesn’t even know? My kid wouldn’t want that at all and neither would the kids who don’t know him. Wow. Hey nephew, go hang out with these teens I found on the corner - I have no idea if they are good kids but they like soccer. No idea if they have drugs or knives on them. No idea when they are being picked up by their own parents. But take yoir soccer gear and join them. See you later. Pick you up at 6 pm. Then teen goes home and mom asks what he did. I hung out with kids I didn’t even know and my aunt was nowhere to be found. You are insane!
Just ignore this person. Clearly unhinged.
Very unhinged. It’s not uncommon for kids who don’t know each other to play anyway.
No it’s not.
There’s no way you’ve been around a bunch of kids who love soccer with a ball somewhere in the vicinity. They can’t help themselves.
+1 Across the country, but fervently agree. It doesn't even matter if their ages are off a bit. Great players know how to play inclusively. I would send him to a park or try to sign up for camps or even look into your local indoor places for drop in times. It might seem daunting but you'll be surprised at where they will slide him in
