The relay move is just dumb[/quote] They have adjusted to the reality that FCPS and APS now start well before Labor Day so that families and coaches want time off before switching into school mode. This was the feedback provided by team reps and coaches when they were scheduling. Teams can hold off on starting evening practices until after Memorial Day, and they can avoid scheduling a B meet before school lets out. That will cut down on some of the stress and overlap. I do agree that NVSL could have kept relay carnival on July 5th, and families that are traveling simply miss the meet just as they would any other meet. [/quote]
