I did not pressure her about her grades.[/quote] +1 I have been telling my magnet kid that it's ok to get a B for a long time, but they are adamant that they don't want a B. The pressure is not coming from us, the parents. She sounds like she is anxious because she is on the borderline of a B, so she wants extra credit. IMO, it's not healthy to have that attitude for a kid. Too much pressure on themselves. OTH, my kid is super smart, and doesn't have to try hard to get an A (not to mention how there is grade inflation where we are), so if they do get a B, I know that it's cause they are slacking off. But, they are a senior now, so it's up to them if they want to break their straight A record.[/quote]
