You can do this all over the county, but people are leery of mentioning their school. Plus, it only applies to a tiny portion of the population. But every single time this comes up on DCUM, here is the troll, spewing venom at Potomac, for some reason. What did that part of MCPS ever do to you?

A year ago, someone from upcounty said their school was very happy to place their kid in Algebra 1 in 6th grade. They did not specify the school. It wasn't a wealthy district. These are the types of responses given on DCUM, so I can only relay that, without being able to to share the school name. I have no reason to lie. I don't know why people are so intent on this being only a "wealthy school perk". Jealousy isn't a good look, people.[/quote]
