I'm not going to name the school because I don't want the practice to stop. However, I should note that this is not exactly the same as what some folks are describing. Our school allows a very small handful of kids to leave campus for math, but they are not offering a cohort of pre-algebra within the elementary school. As far as I know, there's only one school in the entire district that is offering pre-algebra on the elementary school campus. [/quote]
