It is getting an addition. It is overcrowded, just not as overcrowded as McLean. Why it got an addition and McLean has not has never been explained by the School Board - could be because FCPS got its projections wrong several years ago or maybe it’s because they think their commitment to “equity” means favoring a poorer school over a wealthier one. People often ascribe motivations to the School Board, but no one really knows because they refuse to explain their reasoning (or lack thereof). [/quote]
