As explained before, that is different than the OP. OP has a decent legal job, while you barely went to law school. By the way, it is 2012; my guess is that you are talking about sometime a decade or so earlier when BigLaw was a whole different game and even though they were raising the salaries, they were still being run old school, making partners from the ranks and partners having loyalty that extended deeper than their wallets. All of this is irrelevant to OP. But, I'm glad you made it work for you.[/quote]
