We are both Gen Xers. And we are from major cities and attended urban public schools. We grew up in urban public schools, but they had order, discipline, and high expectations. Our home is over $1M so I don't know who you think can "still afford that". To me, that is an expensive home, no matter the cost of living. [/quote]
