nope the average joe on the street will know all of these except Williams and Amherst - not that it really matters, but most people think a school like Wesleyan- which has arguably better name recognition that Williams - is on par with Amherst and Williams - clearly not the general opinion from the erudite masses on dcum

and cmon folks, deep down no one really considers Williams or Amherst elite.  Great schools but meh prestige.  Williams alumns always have to
mention LAC ranking when explaining where they went [/quote]
