If they are going to live on post, she won't be getting subsidy here or be able to live in housing here. And, in this area housing is quite expensive. I was a teacher. If they are not in base housing, they'd have to pay for it and if they aren't high ranking office, they cannot afford two houses. If the is enlisted, he doesn't make much. Military will pay for one move. So, it not an option.[/quote]
