Anyway, this poor kid on the show was fucked up! He has horrible hallucinations and extreme paranoia. He was constantly on his roof trying to "shoot" intruders with a gun he made from things he found around the house (the gun didn't work, but he thought it did).

I remember he went but came right home and wasn't beter. Also, they said just a year ago there were something like 12,000 cases of bath salt abuse and a year later it was more like 240,000 and people in ERs don't necessarily know what to do about it. They are legal and easy for teens to get.
so what's the allure? people want to induce paranoia?

He was asleep when he was attacked and the attacker pulled his (the victim's) clothes off. Also, he's on the older side, and was probably in shock about being woken up with his face being eaten. So...yeah, I think it makes sense that he didn't fight back. I also read that the attacker was large and muscular, so maybe he couldn't fight back.
This truly is one of the most seriously messed up stories I've heard in a long time.
