My daughter loved it and it spurred her to read the biography of Hamilton. It’s art not school!
I did the same. The biography was excellent. And so was the musical.
+1 agree on both the bio and the musical. I love Hamilton but can understand why others wouldn't; however, I don't feel I need to insult them the way some of them seem to want to insult the show, Miranda, fans, etc. I think some of the more nastily negative reacations to it, from the start, have been reactions to its huge popularity and cultural ubiqity for a while there--not really reactions to the show that's on the stage as much as reactions to the show being talked up by others.
