Valentines Day is traditionally a celebration of romantic love. Isn’t it a bit weird to send your kids something?
I think it becomes a habit after buying candy for kids in school.
But you are buying candy for them to do valentine exchange at school and your kid eats candies they get from their friends. I would find it weird weird to get a box of chocolates and gift to my kid to eat! I do buy something for the family not specifically to kids. I don't think I will suddenly start a valentine tradition when they are off to college.
