Are the Enhanced Autopilot or FSD capability worth it? Do they really do what they promise to do? Considering Model Y. I'm the kind of person who doesn't even use cruise control right now.
Just ordered a Model Y and decided against all of this. FSD doesn’t work, so it’s pointless. To make matters worse, Tesla has been removing radar sensors from the cars and a hardware update is expected later in 2023 or 2024 so clearly it’s a waste of money for current models. Enhanced Autopilot has several features that I want, like auto lane change. However the cost doesn’t seem worth it. It’s important to note that several other automakers provide all of the features of EA with the significant added cost and many reports are that they work better than Tesla. These include the Ioniq by Hyundai, Volvo’s Polestar and the new Mercedes EVs that will be released soon. Tesla no longer seems to be the industry leader in this technology.
