The acceptance rate for the 2026 Denison class is 22%. My daughter is there and having a great experience. She has made friends from all over the country (80% of students are from out of state), and we have all come to love Granville (adorable) and Columbus (surprisingly cool). She was unsure about attending a small school but now likes the tight-knit community and the small class sizes. They have a 1 billion dollar endowment which is significant for a school that size. Regarding the politics of Ohio, I think Denison is pretty liberal but not overly political. We are democrats, and my daughter was happy to vote in her first election. After the Dobbs decision came out, the president emailed the community. He didn’t have any answers, but he did say,  “… it is the role of the college to provide access to the health care needs of our students, faculty, and staff. Our ability to do so is both ethical and practical. We have an obligation to our community to provide access to medical options so that individuals can make choices about their own care.” Denison also has a brand new wellness center: https://denison.edu/places/wellness/sexual-reproductive-healthcare
