Our kids all played D3 at colleges they loved and are now either college seniors with grad school acceptances in hand, or in grad school or doing post-grad training in law and medicine. And, BTW, we didn't mind joining with other parents to provide team dinners when the college picked up the tab for the team to fly to CA or FL for pre-season competition or NCAA tournaments.
