A mediterranean restaurant that does kabobs/rice/salad (I don't know any in Boston but this was a popular one for my kids' teams)
Mexican buffet (make your own tacos/fajitas with flour and corn tortillas, chicken and beef, rice, chips and queso)

Boston, Boston - or a suburb? There are plenty of great non chains, just need a specific area and neighborhood for suggestions.

Great idea.

I added Chinese, roast beef sandwiches, I’ll add Greek.

I’ll add some of the others suggested too.

I wonder if Cava does a bar like Chipotle.

More research.

I think the ask is stressful for freshman parents who are coming from afar. Just trying to make it easier.

My kid plays d1 and all game day post game meals are catered by the parents either via the parents bringing food or catered at field.

I would contact the parent who does this for the team you are playing. We always got great recommendations from them, and sometimes based on location did a joint post game tailgate.


I am the parent that new families contact and I was asked if I could provide names of places since most people are not from the area.

How much are you expected to spend each season? What happens if you can't afford to contribute after paying D3 tuition prices?
