People regularly go 65 maybe 70, but not 80. My guess is that you have no idea how fast people are going and generally have a poor assessment of your surroundings and the flow. Just because you're going the speed limit, it doesn't make you a better driver than someone who drives faster, but knows how to adjust based on the conditions. 65 in the daytime, when dry, is totally fine.
