I think what the poster meant is that you maintain a neat and tidy appearance vs buying a new luxury car. Driving around in a damaged car gives the perception that you don’t care remotely care about how things look at all. I would fix it on the cheap as 12 year old Hondas still have value, but almost zero in its current condition. [/quote]
