Like another poster, I was going to recommend Emily Henry for something light and fast read.

For medical people, have you read "cutting for stone"? It's definitely not strictly a romance, but there are some deep love stories in it, both young and older peoples ' stories of falling in love. It's a longer slower read than Emily Henry but more satisfying IMO.[/quote]
