But I would dare, double dare a teacher in say DC to tell a student that his family's position on gay marriage (against) is wrong. That would likely trigger a complaint.
Who gives a shit? Wrong is wrong, and sometimes you gotta tell it like it is. "You are WRONG." or "You don't get to hate." Enough of this PC bullshit in pretending that all views are valid. They're not.
OK, let's ask the teachers what they would do. Teachers, feel free to chime in. Heck, I dare them even more to tell a student that abortion is OK and any family that opposes it is wrong. Darn, you might even lose your retirement, be careful.
Context is everything. If a student is bullying another student whom is suspected of being gay, that's wrong. If a student bullies another student suspected of having an abortion, that, too, is wrong. Note that TOLERANT people don't do these things. Tolerant people don't hold suspected gays down in the quad and cut their hair. TOLERANT people don't picket abortion clinics and taunt women entering them, or shoot doctors who perform the procedure. No, those are the actions of haters. Of terrorists. And the people who enable and encourage are just as guilty and have no business living in America. None.
