The Idea of You by Robinne Lee
I went to law school with her! I feel like TIOU isn't quite what OP is looking for because it's about a relationship that clearly can't work past its hot initial sexual chemistry - not about falling in love with hope. Which I think is more what OP is looking for. It's funny - most of the falling in love books I've read are either about doomed love, or about enemies to lovers - but very few that I can think of really capture that initial feeling where you feel like you've entered another dimension with someone.
Can you please tell her to write something else?? Haha.
Ha. I could have sworn I saw on FB that she was writing another book - and given how successful her first one was it seems like an easy proposition - but I haven't heard anything for a while. We're not friends friends - FB acquaintances. She's an actress, too, if you want to be even a little more amazed. Never seems to have struck it big, but she's been in stuff.
