In terms of rules, who would care if you wanted to be more cautious? If you tell the school you have covid, it's all excused-- your call. Even if you don't tell them it's covid, the kids is still sick by your measure. Incidentally, we simply said dd was out sick. They didn't ask what she had and they didn't ask for a doctor's note despite more than a week out. I think things are lax these days.[/quote]
