[/quote] My son is at Mercersburg and it’s been a transformative experience for him. We didn’t consider St. Andrews but he was accepted to Lawrenceville. We chose MB because of its bucolic campus, its proximity to home, large boarding and international population and we loved the small, quaint town it surrounds. We very quickly realized that while all of those things were true, it’s the community that truly makes it special. My son is excelling in his classes, playing sports he’s never tried before, he’s comfortable and confident around adults and his peers. MB allows students to be big fish in the pond. It’s a very happy place even during finals week (which is right now). [/quote]
