We probably would have waited to tell the couples, but we had a pre planned weekend away and they would have noticed I wasn't drinking. They are very very close friends and both told us at around 5 weeks pregnant so we felt comfortable sharing the news with them. If we hadn't we would have just made up an excuse as to why I wasn't drinking. We've decided until we see a heartbeat we will only tell people if we see them in person and they are people we would lean on if we had a loss.
