Yes, it is stressful to have a choppy schedule with numerous singleton days and long weekends off prohibiting any development of a sense of routine and flow.
But come on.  They have had lots of days off since the beginning of school. Last week was a 4-day week and they'll even have 2 more days off next week. Is it really that unreasonable to go one full week of school?
"Senior skip day" is a stupid tradition in the first place.  But if you're going to have it, at least have it at the end of the year when they're basically done with everything and doesn't matter. That's how it used to be...and only ONE skip day - not one now and another one later![/quote]
