If a college recommends 3 years of a foreign language but the applicant only has two years, how negatively will that impact admissions. The college has a 70% admit rate.
Is this for Radford? Good question. My child is not going to do the advanced diploma, so has dropped foreign language in favor of sports medicine (interested in exercise/sports science) and another elective or 2 that will help with college readiness. She might do the physical therapy class through the Academy as a senior (already in a different program, though) and wants to do student Athletic Training, too. I have a hard time believing they would consider her deficient and not worthy of admission just because she took 2 rather than 3-4 years of foreign language.
