I'm the one who mentioned the reconciling UMC churches. Our former pastor, Rev Stephanie Vader, is an amazing pastor. She was reassigned last year to Capitol Hill UMC. You should visit and try it out. The good thing about UMC is that everyone is welcome whether you are a member, a guest, or a visitor. I know that Rev Stephanie is very welcoming to LGBTQ+. When she was with our church, we had a gay reverend on staff there and they were and are still good friends. She preaches for an open and welcoming congregation. She teaches that everyone is welcome at the table and everyone is welcome to partake of communion in her church.
