I've been doing this a long time and it drives me insane. I've started working with my union and with a lawyer on general employee safety. We teachers have to band together and stop tolerating this. We have a right to safety along with the rest of our students. I don't particularly care if a child has a disability or not. A "one time situation" if the child is younger than 6 or so is one thing. Repeated violence at any age? Nope. Older than 1st grade? Nope. [/quote]
