I had a boy and a girl but wanted three kids and had a 3rd. I think the whole gender thing is really only important to parents who are fixated on having one specific gender. There are plenty of us who genuinely don’t care![/quote]

I agree. Have a boy and a girl and still want a third! But sadly dh seems done!

I am surprised they went for four though. I’m one of four and it was a lot of fun, but it’s an objectively large family and a lot to handle even with all the help in the world! Good for them though, they certainly have the resources to clear as many hurdles as possible.[/quote]
