I wrote the post above from 2021. We took the spot and it’s been great. There is a fair amount of staff turnover but they still have great teachers and we my kid is very happy there. [b]They still require kids to wear masks though [/b]and they have shifted closing time to 5.30 instead of 6. [/quote]

Given that Karasik serves medically vulnerable children I suspect this is in response to parent concerns (or perceived concerns?). If that's the case (we're not enrolled there), I do not blame them, and I say this as someone who doesn't think masks do much in this setting/population and is concerned about developmental impacts. Yes, that was the reason given for continuing to mask. Several families have left over the policy, but the benefits of the place outweigh this issue for us. [/quote]
