I do not get it. Hover boards are ok, but if you put a go cart kit on it no. Electric scooters and bikes that go 35mph are ok. Electric skateboard ok. I am seriously thinking of cruising on Arlington bike paths on a motorcycle at 40mph. At least you can hear it. The electronic bikes and scooters belong on the street - we have enough lance Armstrong wannabes riding obnoxious enough and do not need ones who cannot even pedal going as fast or faster. I am so annoyed. End.
Maybe the public share versions. Private bikes are over 35mph everyday in Arlington. There are no speed traps or speed cameras set up. No enforcement. I bet in the next year we see atv and mx bikes takes over. E-bikes and scooters must be speed limited to 20mph to use a MUT. That’s the state law.
