An egg McMuffin has less than 300 calories, so what are you eating that is so frightening?
Also curious about this. I have a breakfast sandwich most mornings. English muffin, one egg, one piece of bacon, and one piece of cheese. Never more than 400 calories.
Some breakfast sandwich are reasonable like the Egg McMuffin or something made at home with a whole grain english muffin/bread, an egg cheese, some tomato.. But yes, breakfast sandwiches can easily become huge calorie bombs. Pretty much any "breakfast" sandwich that includes bacon/sausage and is on a bagel or croissant is going to be a lot of calories. If that is the kind you ate OP, I get it. If I'm eating a really indulgent breakfast sandwich, I'd probably have a fruit and yogurt at some point for lunch then a heathy dinner on the lighter side.
