And it’s even more stupid in this situation.  DCPCS families can always just go to their IB but DCPS families can’t easily do the opposite.  Charters have a safety net - DCPS. Unless you just want to open your charter enrollment after count day for a bunch of new students from DCPS whose IB keeps their funding?  No, didn’t think so.[/quote]

It IS stupid!  I know!  But you CAN lottery into another school, though, or leave DC!  You just don't care enough!
