Definitely a dwindling number in the past two months. But I am still in the Novid camp, despite multiple exposures. Every time I'm knowingly exposed or any time I have cold symptoms, I've tested. So either the tests are wrong, or I've never had it. I have had several colds over the past year. Kids and spouse are the same as me, no one in our house has tested positive. We are not particularly careful. I don't go out of my way to be in crowds, but I don't avoid normal in person interactions like work, seeing friends, travel, eating out, etc. and don't wear masks.
You may still have had it. DD had a cold for a day and we tested for three days because we were seeing relatives. All test negative, including the PCR. But then a cousin got sick at around the same time and we re-tested DD at around 6 days after her "cold." She was completely recovered at that time and we would have never tested her again if it weren't for the cousin getting covid. Her test came back positive at that point for two days. Zero symptoms then. The next day it was negative again.
