The last stat I saw was about fifty fifty.
No one in my household has gotten it. We all try to avoid going indoors other than our house but when we do go indoors for work and school we were kn95s or n95s.
I think it is now very much higher than 50/50. Out of my team of 23, only 2 people have not had it. And many of these people are living pretty cautiously, working from home etc.
As an aside, I suspect not many people are living (if that is what it can be called) as cautiously as you. It was one thing pre-vaccine, but to deny any non-masked socializing for years for something that, in the vast majority of cases, is no worse than the flu, seems, frankly, bonkers...
Well if that’s your attitude I’m not surprised most of the people you know have gotten it.
Where did I say no unmasked socializing? We keep socializing outside. Sometimes I wear a mask outside when we are socializing but the rest of my family doesn’t.
I can only imagine how much fun your sweaty-faced outside socializing must be...

N95 groupies. I love it. And totally agree. Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:That’s because some people are living very cautiously and some people are not.

LOL no.
Drive 30 minutes outside of DC. 99.9% of people are NOT living cautiously. The immediate DC area is a huge anomaly of very anxious people.

See a doctor and get a prozac script.

Every time I'm knowingly exposed or any time I have cold symptoms, I've tested. So either the tests are wrong, or I've never had it. I have had several colds over the past year.
Kids and spouse are the same as me, no one in our house has tested positive.
We are not particularly careful. I don't go out of my way to be in crowds, but I don't avoid normal in person interactions like work, seeing friends, travel, eating out, etc. and don't wear masks.

And lots of people have lived normal lives and also didn't get covid. What you are doing is pointless.
