Mulaney almost certainly has a deal with Netflix to release the special on streaming and protecting the value of that streaming is part of the contract. This also came up earlier this year when the phone locking method failed on Brosdway and someone filmed an released clips of an actor doing a nude scene. That was pretty gross as the actor clearly hadn't consented to that leak. But they make it clear on the ticket. If you can't respect the performer's wishes, you're free not to attend.[/quote]
