No one would believe the results.[/quote] If they were hand counting each ballot, yes, but my understanding is they are scanning the the ballots. What takes a long time is opening the envelopes and verifying that the ballot is valid, not counting who the person votes for. With RCV the computer would do the counting. The problem would be of it makes it confusing for voters. We already have very low turnout.[/quote]
