Did you make the Doberge cake? I made this as part of a pandemic baking project and it became so popular in my family that I've had to make it for birthdays a few times. I wasn't sure of the lemon/chocolate combo, but it works!![/quote]

I did, and agree it’s tasty (and visually stunning) but honestly think that I’d just make a lemon cake and a chocolate cake going forward, since there are only two pieces (the ones at the join) where you actually get both flavours in the same slice. You’re more ambitious than myself to make it multiple times! What else comprised your pandemic baking project, and did you document it anywhere (eg Instagram?)[/quote]
