I am going to go ahead and assume they have learned their lesson- the reality is that organizations that own up to these type of problems are usually the ones who become more vigilant about them not happening again. USA Swimming overall had (and continues to have) a lot of problems in this area and is also has one of the strictest SafeSport regulations as a result. It is an unfortunate truth that it is a problem in literally all youth sports and schools- so parents and children must be diligent. That said, I do not judge current NCap coaches based on what happened in the past.
I'm not sure if you work there, but they didn't own up to it not ever, and they asked people to support him and write him letters? there was not some vigilant change made there. Current coaches he worked with still coach. Not all obv. but some. And no one else was canned when he left. But I agree Kids need to be looked after at all swim clubs and sports or school activities.
