RMSC Rockville is generally thought to be the most competitive location, followed by KSAC. I have also heard, like a PP said, that KSAC’s junior coach is nasty.

That happened 30 years ago FYI
you realize he wasn't convicted until 2013, and that the name didn't change until much after the abuse/conviction? He didn't even step down until 2012.
Its gross. And people knew and didn't GAF
The name change took place in September 2012. What happened was completely horrific and terrifying to any parent of a young female athlete, but it bears no relation to the current club administration.

USA Swimming overall had (and continues to have) a lot of problems in this area and is also has one of the strictest SafeSport regulations as a result.
It is an unfortunate truth that it is a problem in literally all youth sports and schools- so parents and children must be diligent.
That said, I do not judge current NCap coaches based on what happened in the past.
I'm not sure if you work there, but they didn't own up to it not ever, and they asked people to support him and write him letters? there was not some vigilant change made there.
Current coaches he worked with still coach. Not all obv. but some. And no one else was canned when he left.
But I agree Kids need to be looked after at all swim clubs and sports or school activities.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Thanks. NCAP GP how does it compare to NCAP north or Holton Arms?Bcz the coach said he would put him in 10 and under but not 10-11.I saw in Holton Arms it’s 9-12 is different. Does the coaching differ very much between these locations? Thanks
At Holton it is 10 and under, then Bronze is 11/12. Sometimes younger kids move groups a little more quickly while slower swimmers might stay and extra year, so those are guidelines. NCap North is in VA so it may different
Coaching is different in that each coach has their own personality and focus, but NCap is known for their excellent coaching.
