That's a ridiculous take. The entire purpose of public schools is to provide a good education for every student. Right now some schools are doing very poorly and FCPS has continually failed to demonstrate that they have the backbone to make decisions that are universally optimal but unpopular with the vocal minority.[/quote]

Exactly, kids today are doing fine as are schools. Sure, some standardized test metrics are down but that has more to do with mass immigration from central America over the past two decades than a decline in schools. The influx of non-native speakers is going to impact test score averages. It's simple. It doesn't mean that schools are worse and honestly my kids are getting far more out FCPS today than I did 30 years ago.[/quote]
