OP here.  He likes pecan pie (and many other holiday pies), all sorts of cookies and things like banana and pumpkin breads.  Thanks for the suggestion[/quote]

I sent my folks some treats, including 4” pecan pies (thinking my Dad could keep them frozen and thaw one at a time as he wanted), pralines, and Caramillicans (seems to be similar to turtle candies) from Millican Pecan.  My mon was particularly excited about the Caramillicans. They said everything was good, but honestly, I’m pretty sure they would have said that regardless.
