Serious question for principal PP. What students are even going into school counseling or SW? Notoriously low salaries, high burnout rate, no respect, limited opportunities for advancement, etc. Every other teacher and counselor at my kids’ former school were white, young, idealistic JMU grads. Several left after a couple of years. How can recruitment and tenure issues be addressed, besides raising pay?[/quote]
