Serious question for principal PP.

What students are even going into school counseling or SW? Notoriously low salaries, high burnout rate, no respect, limited opportunities for advancement, etc. Every other teacher and counselor at my kids’ former school were white, young, idealistic JMU grads. Several left after a couple of years. How can recruitment and tenure issues be addressed, besides raising pay?

Would SROs also watch a shooter enter a building and then bravely threaten to taser parents trying to enter to save their children while the police wait for a swat team?

School Board member Omeish wants to remove SROs like Alexandria public schools did.

Our ES is covered by the nearby MS SRO. The other ES is covered by the HS SRO.
