I have kids in two DCC high schools and have been gto both for events this spring, and I would say 90%+ are masking. Teachers/staff are more like 70%, but maybe many of them had covid recently? (I know quite a few had Omicron). Both schools are on the lower end of 10 day positive percentages, even though one is high on numbers (it is a large school). I am definitely appreciative of students' and families' care for one another by masking. I am also glad graduation will be outdoors.
That’s in line with what I observed at a recent event too- I think many teachers were more than happy to ditch the masks after teaching in them in person for the last year, whereas many of the parents were or still are working from home and never had to mask as often. It wears you down, particularly if you are wearing a properly fitted mask and talking all day.
