I do follow on-demand ( feed him whenever he wants, follow wake windows but put him down earlier if tired, let him decide how much he wants to eat, etc.) I follow a strict feeding schedule meaning that I was told not to go more than 3 hours without feeding during day. My mom and sister said they never woke their babies and to just feed when they wake up, but we wake him if he isn’t up by 3 hours to feed. We let him wake up on his own for the night, but we feed him every 2-3 hours during the day. [/quote] How old is your baby? Past the first week or two, waking them during the day to feed shouldn’t be this much of an issue? Is this happening a lot where you have to wake him from naps to eat?[/quote]
