I’ve conceived four times. My doctor was adamant I stop drinking a month prior because of miscarriage rates tied to alcohol. Two of those pregnancies I didn’t and I did indeed have two miscarriages. There are studies that show correlation to early miscarriage. The majority of people don’t have an issue but just because “you were fine the one time you got pregnant” doesn’t give you the right to spew bad medical advice. This isn’t Emily Oster information - has nothing to do with FAS that early, it’s miscarriage rates.

And yes, I know people on this board love alcohol almost more than anything else and someone telling them to stop drinking is basically the same as a death wish. By all means come at me, but if you’re one of those people, you have the problem - not me. [/quote]
