I'm fed up with the terrible customer service that's still being passed off as pandemic related. That excuse was fine in 2020 and 2021, but it's 2022. If your business is still struggling with getting employees and providing the service you offer - the whole reason you're in business - then it's no longer the fault of the pandemic; it's your fault for being a shitty manager and/or business owner.
Eh. Americans are not going to work like they did pre-pandemic. White collar realized they could get more done in less time. So 1-2 days in the office, everything else is flexible. Blue collar realized they can get on that government money and make nearly what they did working 40-60 hours a week just sitting home and smoking legal pot. Who do you think is going to go wait tables or man a help center call line in 2022? Nobody. You better get ready for the kind of customer service you get in most of the rest of the world (exceptions for Japan, Dubai, maybe a couple others).
What government money are you talking about? All that is gone.
